HID Access Control with AD Integration connects the HID Aero controller and iSecure platform directly to Microsoft Active Directory (AD), so that the digital identity in AD drives physical access rights automatically. When an employee is created, modified or deactivated in AD, their physical access badge is provisioned, updated or revoked in iSecure — with no manual step in between.

HDFC Bank needed to enforce identity lifecycle governance across approximately 90,000 employees and 2,500+ access points — ensuring that when HR processes a departure in Active Directory, the employee's physical access badge is simultaneously revoked. The previous manual process left windows of days between AD deactivation and physical badge revocation, creating compliance and security risk.
Security Shells Infotech deployed a pan-India HID access control estate — HID Aero X1100 controllers with V2000, V1000, V100 and AMICO Face readers — and integrated iSecure's Active Directory connector. AD security groups were mapped to iSecure access groups, so role changes in AD automatically trigger access-group updates in iSecure. The iSecure AD sync runs at configurable intervals and logs all provisioning events for audit.
