HID Access Control Integration with Kronos connects the iSecure IAM platform to UKG (Kronos) Workforce Central / Workforce Dimensions — the leading workforce management system used by large manufacturing organisations. The integration synchronises employee identity, shift schedules, time-attendance records and access rights between Kronos and iSecure, ensuring workforce management and physical security operate from a single identity source.
Manufacturing organisations using Kronos for workforce scheduling need their physical access control platform to reflect Kronos schedules, employee assignments and cost-centre structures. Without this integration, access control operates on stale employee data, employees can swipe in outside their scheduled shift without an alert, and attendance records in Kronos diverge from actual access events — creating payroll errors and compliance gaps.

Bharat Forge runs multiple Pune facilities with approximately 20,000 employees and a complex Kronos workforce management deployment covering shift scheduling, payroll and cost-centre management. Physical access data and Kronos workforce data operated in silos: attendance records had to be manually reconciled between the two systems, out-of-shift access was undetectable, and visitor management was handled by a completely separate paper-based process.
Security Shells Infotech deployed HID Aero X1100 controllers and V2000 + VIRDI biometric readers across all Bharat Forge Pune locations, with iSecure configured as the central IAM platform. The Kronos integration module in iSecure pulls employee master data, cost centres and shift schedules from Kronos and pushes time-attendance punch events back — replacing manual reconciliation. iTrace visitor management was added on the same iSecure instance. Out-of-shift access alerts were configured to notify supervisors in real-time.
